The 2010 Players Championship gets underway this Thursday from the Circus Tavern and Sky Bet are offering a host of darts betting markets including 13/8 for two or more players to hit a 170 checkout (7/4 no 170 finish & 7/4 1 170 finish). It's 9/4 for any player to hit a magical 9 dart finish (1/3 no 9 darter).

Phil Taylor is the 4/11 favourite to successfully defend his title with James Wade, who won the 2009 Premier League title 10/1 and Gary Anderson next best at 14/1. Taylor, who won all TV ranking events in 2009, is 1/6 to win his quarter and 1/25 to win his opening match against Peter Manley (8/1).

Sky Bet's darts betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: "If anybody is going to stop Phil Taylor from winning back-to-back tournaments they are really going to have to raise their game and have a tournament average of at least 105."
