Birmingham City are the latest club to show an interest in the Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko and Sky Bet make it 10/1 for the Russian international to sign for the Blues. Spartak Moscow, who are apparently confident in signing the 28-year
old, although a deal is still yet to be agreed, are the 3/1 favourites to secure his services and it's now 7/2 (from 5/1) he stays at Spurs.

After Pavlyuchenko ruled himself out of a potential move to Zenit St Petersburg, Sky Bet have pushed out his price of joining the Russian side from 4/5 to 5/1.

Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: "It's well known that Alex McLeish is keen to sign a striker in the current transfer window but whether he would pay £10 million for Pavlyuchenko remains to be seen."
