David Silva 20/1 to be named the PFA Player of the Year
David Silva is 20/1 to be named the PFA Player of the Year next season, following the news that the Spanish international has signed for Manchester City .
It’s understood that City have agreed a five-year deal with the 24-year-old, who will complete a medical once his involvement in the World Cup is over. Sky Bet are offering a number of debut specials for Silva including 3/1 he scores and 20/1 he scores a brace. 80/1 is on offer for the Spanish international to have a dream debut and score a hat-trick.
Silva, who scored a total of 21 goals from 119 appearances for Valencia , is 5/6 to score 6 or more league goals for Manchester City in the 2010/11 season (5/6 5 or fewer).
Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “The signing of Silva demonstrates how ambitious City are about next season. The Spaniard is capable of playing as an attacking midfielder or on the wing and will certainly cause a number of problems for defences next season.”
