Harry Redknapp cut to 6/4 in next England manager betting

Sky Bet have cut the price on Harry Redknapp to be the next manager of England to 6/4 (from 7/4) following the news that Roy Hodgson is set to be named as the new manager of Liverpool . Hodgson, who has distanced himself from the England role in favour of Liverpool , is now 6/1 (from 11/4) to succeed Fabio Capello.

Martin O’Neill is now 9/2 (from 11/2) and David Beckham, who was subject to a gamble yesterday remains at 10/1.

Sky Bet’s football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: “With the news that Hodgson is set to take the Liverpool role it’s triggered further support for Redknapp to succeed Capello. Redknapp has already said that he would relish the opportunity to manage England and after guiding Tottenham into the Champions League, the English public seem to think he would seem the ideal replacement for the Italian.”
