Shrewsbury 5/6 To Gain Promotion - SKY Bet

The League 2 play-off final between Gillingham and Shrewsbury gets underway tomorrow, live on Sky Sports 1 from 2:30pm and Sky Bet are offering 5/6 for Shrewsbury to gain promotion to League 1. Shrewsbury may have a slight psychological advantage going into tomorrow’s play-off final; they beat the Gills 7-0 back in September and also came back from 2-0 down in the return fixture to draw 2-2. It’s 6/4 for the Shrews to win in 90minutes, 9/1 they win in extra time and 16/1 they win on penalties. Gillingham, who were relegated from League One last season are 5/6 to bounce straight back up and 6/4 to win in 90minutes.

 
If Shrewsbury fail to gain promotion tomorrow, Sky Bet are offering 2/1 that they get promoted from League 2 next season and 8/1 they go on to win the league title. Gillingham, who made the play-off final after a 2-1 aggregate victory over Rochdale are also 8/1 to be crowned champions of League 2 next season and 2/1 to be promoted. Bets in the 2009/10 outright and promotion markets on Saturday’s play-off final winner will be voided.
